Sumedha Iyer
Managing Trustee
Sumedha Iyer is an entrepreneur, strategist, and philanthropist with over 13 years of experience across healthcare, technology, and social impact. A B.Tech graduate, she has built and led successful ventures across multiple sectors, including setting up a hospital from scratch, combining innovation with purpose-driven leadership.
As the Managing Trustee of the Iyer Foundation, she is committed to transforming lives through education, women's empowerment, and sustainable community development. Under her leadership, the Foundation has partnered with schools, communities, and corporate organizations to strengthen educational infrastructure, promote digital learning, and create opportunities for unprivileged children across India.
A published author and television panelist, Sumedha has also contributed to discussions on public policy and social issues. Her work has been featured by leading national media, reflecting her commitment to creating meaningful and lasting social change.
Driven by the belief that education is the foundation of an equitable society, she continues to lead initiatives that empower individuals, strengthen communities, and inspire the next generation.
